Aaron Ashworth is a 3x combat veteran with 23 years in service to the Oklahoma Army National Guard where he is still active as an Army Chaplain. In addition to his military service he has served the State of Oklahoma as an advocate and clinician for mental health and suicide prevention. Aaron was the Suicide Prevention Programs Administrator for the Oklahoma Military Department. He then moved to serve as the Veteran Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Programs Administrator for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs. Aaron was selected by the Governor to lead the Oklahoma Governor’s Challenge to Reduce Veteran Suicide and also to lead the PREVENTS presidential program where Aaron was selected to advise Vice President Mike Pence and the White House on Native American Veteran Needs. Aaron now runs Patriot Family Counseling Services, a crisis and trauma clinic for veterans, first responders, and medical professionals in Broken Arrow, OK.
