CHILDREN

More Info

Although we wish it wasn’t the case, children experience trauma and difficulties long before they reach adulthood. By providing your child with access to professional therapy, you can help them evolve into adulthood with ease. We work to provide your child with the tools and education they need to understand themselves and the situations in which they find themselves.

Therapy Services

We offer several different types of therapy services that serve to aid the mind, body and spirit.

DIET

More Info

How we fuel our body impacts our physical health as well as our mental health. The relationship between what we eat and our mental health can be complex, but there is definitely a link between what we eat and how we feel.

EXERCISE

More Info

Taking a walk, doing a high-intensity workout, doing a low-intensity workout – no matter how you move your body, you will see an improvement in your mental health. Exercise impacts mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and our mood by improving self-esteem and cognitive function. Simply getting up and getting the juices flowing can give our system a jolt and a reset.

YOGA

More Info

When you step on your mat and prepare yourself to practice yoga, several things happen almost instantly. Your mind, body, and spirit begin to focus on slowing down, breathing, and taking the time to slowly and purposefully move your body. Not only is there a change in your physical approach, but your mind also gets a moment to process the movements your body is making, to picture different muscle groups stretching, and to release the stresses of the day.

MEDITATION

More Info

Day-to-day life can be busy, fast-paced, and non-stop. This go-go-go lifestyle has a huge impact on our mental health. When we lack that downtime to take a breath and just let life slow down for a minute, stress builds up, we grow tired, and we just don’t feel good.

COUNSELING

More Info

Perhaps the most well-known and talked about way to improve your mental health is through counseling services. For a long time, talking with a therapist was considered taboo and reserved for everyone but yourself. This is no longer the case. Countless people from celebrities, to professional athletes, to politicians, and even your neighbor are changing the conversation around mental health and counseling services.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is all about you and your evolution. This is you and your therapist meeting together with no one else in the room, no cell phones going off, no music or video playing in the background. During this time together, the only agenda is to help you become the person you want to be. Individual therapy sessions are where the most laser-focused work happens.

Many new clients find individual therapy to be the least intimidating, and most rewarding, way to connect. We can cover a wide variety of topics, getting down to the bottom of what is hindering your personal evolution. During individual therapy, we may suggest other services such as couples therapy or group therapy depending on your personal needs.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is two individuals evolving into an unstoppable team. It is you and your partner getting to know each other inside and out, identifying who and where you want to be together, and working together to reach that goal. The end goal of couples therapy is two people who genuinely want to be together and who make each other better than they could ever be alone.

Contrary to popular belief, couples therapy is not just for couples in crisis! During couples therapy, we can work towards resolution in challenging seasons in your relationship or simply provide you with tools for more effective communication. Through couples counseling, we will help you and your partner evolve both as individuals and as a couple.

Children’s Therapy

Unfortunately, children of all ages experience trauma and difficult situations. Through children’s therapy, we are able to work with your child in age-appropriate ways, helping them to work through the situations they have experienced. Providing your child with access to this critical tool for growth will help them as they evolve into adulthood.

Just like adults, every child processes things differently. Because of this, there is no one-size-fits-all solution for children’s therapy. We will work to better understand your child using a variety of therapy approaches to best suit their age, personality, and stage of development. Whether your child has experienced hardship or they are simply looking for a way to sort through the complexities of growing older, children’s therapy can be one of the greatest gifts they are given.

Online Therapy

Online therapy provides people with the opportunity to engage in individual or couples therapy from their home, office, or any other appropriate setting. This is an excellent option for people with responsibilities or schedules that make it difficult to get to the therapist’s office or people who cannot make it to the office due to their location, lack of transportation, or lack of childcare.

Online therapy is also a great way for individuals who are hesitant or anxious about attending an in-person session. At Evolution Mental Health Services, we use a HIPPA compliant, secure platform to ensure the security and confidentiality of our clients during their online therapy sessions.
