Brooke Thomas-Cohn, LADC

Brooke Thomas-Cohn is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor based in the Oklahoma City area. She specializes in helping clients identify their destructive beliefs that are no longer useful to them and how to let go of these beliefs through CBT, tapping and chakra bowl work. She also teaches clients the basics of tapping, FEFT, and how to deeply release negative beliefs and emotions from the body. She is influenced by the work of Robert G. Smith, John Bradshaw, Pia Mellody, Claudia Black, and Brene Brown. She also borrows many principles from 12-step programs (AA, Alanon, ACA) to help her clients better understand themselves.

Brooke has 36 years of recovery. She believes Codependency, Enabling, Enmeshment, and Unexpressed Grief, are all spiritual illnesses that contribute to the abuse/dependence/”dis-ease” of alcoholism and drug addiction. These issues keep a person from growing and maturing into the person they were created to be.
